Photographic Mapping
Maps usually aren't very useful without context. The layered photographs come together to form a map which invites you to explore. These maps aren't of any particular place but are a mash of a few different ones or just elements which I found aesthetically pleasing at the time of capture. Large chunks of the images are erased or obstructed by other parts. By removing aspects of the images the memory of these aspects are destroyed and as I am the only one with the memory of what was previously there, the viewer is left with a void, filled by another part from a different image. Rather than recreating the memory of what has been erased, the viewer is left with a collage of different images in which they explore to create a new map.
